AU Football head coach, Lee Owens, stopped by the WRDL studios on Thursday, Oct. 29th, for his weekly interview on the Early Bird’s Word.  He talked about all things AU Football, including this past week’s thrilling 41-40 victory over the Hillsdale Chargers.  He also gave the crew in-depth look at this Saturday’s AFCA top 10 matchup against the Grand Valley State Lakers.  The Eagles are ranked 5th in the latest AFCA polls, their highest ranking since being ranked 4th during the 2012 season.  Saturday’s game will be Ashland’s first top 10 matchup since 2000.
