AU Women’s Basketball beats Saginaw Valley 72-57

The Ashland University Women’s Basketball team improved to 8-0 after dominating yet another opponent in their 2015-2016 campaign.

Saturday afternoon, the Eagle Women continued their impressive GLIAC play, beating Saginaw Valley State 72-57.

Sophomore forward Andi Daugherty led all scorers with 19 points.  Sophomore forward Laina Snyder and senior guard McKenzie Miller scored 18 point and 16 points respectively.

The Eagle Women have a week break before hosting St. Joseph’s of Indiana (Dec. 19th) and Urbana (Dec. 20th) to finish their four-game homestand.
