AU Women’s Basketball escapes Ohio Dominican, improves to 19-0

The Ashland University Women’s Basketball team continued their winning ways and improved to 19-0 after defeating Ohio Dominican.

Thursday night, the third-ranked Eagles beat the Panthers 66-62,

Junior guard Kelsey Peare led all Eagle scorers with 17 on 7-9 shooting.  Sophomore forward Laina Snyder and Andi Daugherty both scored in double figures with 14 and 13 respectively.

The Eagles now prepare for another GLIAC South Division rival this Saturday against the Tiffin Dragons (Jan. 30th) before a two game trip against Lake Erie (Feb. 1st) and Walsh (Feb. 4th).
