AU Men’s Basketball loses to Ferris State in GLIAC Final Four

The Ashland University Men’s Basketball team took on Ferris State in GLIAC Final Four, falling just short of the GLIAC Title game.

Saturday night, the tenth-ranked Eagles lost the Bulldogs 67-52. Before their loss to Ferris State, the Men’s team had won 13 of their last 14 dating back to the regular season.

Junior guard Adrian Cook led all scorers with 19 points and tallied three assists.  Junior forward Wendell Davis chipped in with nine points and nine rebounds.

The Eagles now prepare for the NCAA Tournament, looking to advance their for the first time since 1991.  The Eagles finished their regular season with a 24-4 record, beating Grand Valley State in the first round of the GLIAC Tournament.
