AU Men’s Basketball drops 2 in a row

The Ashland University Men’s Basketball fell to 6-3 in their 2016-2017 campaign after losing to the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals on Thursday, Dec. 8 and Wayne State University on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Inside Kate’s Gymnasium, the Eagles fells to the #1-ranked Cardinals 75-68 and the Warriors 61-56.

Senior guard Adrian Cook led all Eagle scorers with 20 points against Saginaw Valley State and tallied seven points against the Warriors.

The Eagles now prepare for their upcoming GLIAC road trip with the Ferris State Bulldogs and the Grand Valley State Lakers on Dec. 17 and 19, respectively.
