Ashland Mayor Glen Stewart stopped by the WRDL studios on Wednesday, Jan. 11, for his final weekly interview on The Early Bird’s Word.  On Dec. 5, 2016, Mayor Stewart announced that he would retiring from his position as Mayor, effective Jan. 21, 2017.  During his most recent interview, Mayor Stewart touched upon the future of Ashland and some his fondest memories since becoming Mayor of Ashland in 2008.  Mayor Stewart also introduced WRDL to his likely replacement for Mayor, Duane Fishpaw.  All of Mayor Stewart’s past interviews on The Early Bird’s Word can be found on the WRDL Soundcloud page.
