AU Women’s Basketball improves to 18-0

Ashland University Women’s Basketball improved to 18-0 on the season after downing the Hillsdale Chargers 85-66 on Saturday, Jan. 14.

Inside Kate’s Gymnasium, the #1-ranked Eagles trailed at the end of the first quarter, something they had only done one time prior to the game.

Junior forward Laina Snyder led all scorers with 17 points and 16 rebounds against the Chargers.  Freshman guard Jodi Johnson scored 13 points, while grabbing six rebounds.

Before their win over the Chargers, the Eagles defeated the Ohio Dominican Panthers on Thursday, Jan. 12 by a final score of 101-62.
