The start of the 2017 recruiting class for the Ashland University football program began on Wednesday, Feb. 1, as AU Football head coach Lee Owens addressed members of the media at the Robert Troop Center during the team’s National Signing Day press conference.  The press conference also saw AU Football release their 2016-2017 regular season schedule. Seven teams with 2016 winning records are on the Eagles’ 2017 schedule. The 2016 cumulative winning percentage of AU’s 2017 opponents is .611.  This year’s Purple/Gold Spring Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 22 at 7 p.m. at Jack Miller Stadium.
