Associate Professor of French at Ashland University, Dr. Richard Gray, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Tuesday, Feb. 7 to talk about his recently published book, “The Performance Identities of Lady Gaga.”  With her recent SuperBowl halftime show performance in mind, Dr. Gray discussed Lady Gaga’s body of work through the interdisciplinary filter of performance identity and cover topics such as gender and sexuality, body commodification, visual body rhetoric, and several other topics around one of pop music’s most popular artists.
