IT Thursday: Ben Schwartz on email safety and security

Ashland University Information Technology Director of Infrastructure and Security, Ben Schwartz, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Thursday, Feb. 9 for an email safety and security Q&A.  Schwartz touched upon many topics within the world of IT safety and security, including the importance of properly monitoring your personal and work email accounts.  In a study done by CNNMoney in May of 2014, hackers exposed the personal information of 110 million Americans — roughly half of the nation’s adults — in 2014 alone.  Those numbers are believed to have risen since then. AU Information Technology is located on the first floor of Patterson Hall and is open to all AU Students.
