Lady Eagles Follow National Championship Season with Early GLIAC Tournament Exit

Trophy

The Ashland women’s basketball season came to an untimely end Wednesday night as the Eagles fell to Malone 56-54 in the quarterfinals of the 2014 GLIAC tournament.

The Eagles led by as many as eight in the second half, but rebounding and turnovers plagued the Eagle offense. The Eagles’ 54 points was the fewest amount of points scored by Ashland at home this season.
