IT Update: Technology in Emergency Situations

Director of Information Technology at Ashland University, Donald Tharp, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Monday, Oct. 2, to talk with the crew about the use of technology during emergency situations similar to the recent Las Vegas shooting.  On Sunday, Oct. 1, 59 people were shot and killed in Las Vegas, Nevada during a music festival on the famed Las Vegas Boulevard.  With more than 500 people injured and 59 dead, the shooting is the deadliest shooting in American history.  Ashland University Information Technology is located on the first floor of Patterson Hall.
