The Ashland University Women’s Basketball team began their 2017-2018 season on the road, taking on Ohio State in exhibition play.

The Eagles traveled to the Value City Arena in Columbus, Ohio, losing to the Buckeyes 110-80.

The Eagles entered the exhibition coming off a season in which they captured the NCAA Division II National Championship, finishing the year a perfect 37-0.

Ashland’s exhibition season concludes on Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. at Division I power Connecticut.  That game be heard live on 88.9 WRDL, with pregame coverage starting at 12:30 p.m.
