The Ashland University Football team improved to 9-1 on the season, after beating the Grand Valley State Lakers in thrilling fashion on Saturday, Nov. 4.

Senior kicker Aiden Simenc knocked down a 29-yard field goal as time expired to beat the Lakers 34-31 at Jack Miller Stadium.

The Eagles’ were led by senior quarterback Travis Tarnowski, who threw for 248 yards and one touchdown on 19-36 passing.
