The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the entire WRDL listening area. Rain will turn to snow around 10am Wednesday morning, and will be preceded by a brief period of freezing rain and sleet.

The heaviest snow should be occur between mid-morning and late afternoon. Those in the Ashland area should expect snow accumulation totals between four and eight inches and wind gusts up to 40 mph. Wind gusts will cause blowing snow and poor visibility, at times less than a quarter mile. Temperatures will also drop down into the single digits by Wednesday night.
