Two Ashland University athletic coaches and Ashland Mayor Glen Stewart joined the Early Bird’s Word this week.

On Monday, Eagle baseball coach John Schaly talked about the team’s canceled series against Grand Valley over the weekend and previewed this week’s games. The AU baseball team will play Lake Erie Wednesday afternoon at 3:00. That game will be broadcasted on 88.9 WRDL. Pregame begins at 2:45.

AU softball coach Sheilah Gulas joined the show on Wednesday to talk about the first home action softball has seen all season. Also joining the show Wednesday morning was Ashland Mayor Glen Stewart. Mayor Stewart discusses the city’s new garage sale ordinance, among many other bullet points of city business.
