The Ashland University men’s and women’s basketball teams both defeated the University of Findlay Thursday night.

The Eagle men made easy work of Findlay, beating the Oilers 80-47 thanks to a strong performance from the bench. Three AU players (Cole Krizancic, Paul Honigford and Jett Speelman) came off the bench to score in double-figures.

The women defeated UF 77-66 to keep pace with Wayne State in the GLIAC south division. Laina Snyder finished with 18 points.
