Ashland University Football head coach, Lee Owens, stopped by the WRDL studios on Monday, Feb. 15th, to talk with the crew the about the upcoming 2016 AU Football season.  He covered a lot of different topics, including this year’s 2016 recruiting class. This year’s class features 43 new recruits, 41 of which who are from the state of Ohio.  The Eagles 2016 season kicks off on Sept. 1st when the Eagles open their 2016 campaign against Mercyhurst.  The Eagles 2016 spring game will take place on Thursday, April 21 at 7 p.m. at Jack Miller Stadium.  This year, WRDL will broadcast all 5 AU Football home games in addition to this year’s spring game.
