AU Baseball sweeps ODU in doubleheader
Ashland University Baseball picked added two more victories to their win column, dominating Ohio Dominican University in doubleheader action.
The Eagles outplayed the Panthers in the first game, winning 5-1, followed by their dominating performance in the second game, in which they crushed the Panthers 13-8.
Junior RHP Brandyn Sittinger took the mound in game one for the Eagles, going the distance while striking out 12 batters. Senior outfielder Nick Edwards led the Eagles offensively in game two, going 3-4 from the plate, scoring two runs and picking up four RBI.
Ashland improves to 11-8 on the season, sitting atop the GLIAC South Division and have now won their last three in a row.
