Ashland University Baseball head coach John Schaly stopped by the WRDL studios on Monday, May 2nd for his final weekly interview of the year on The Early Bird’s Word.  Coach Schaly recapped AU Baseball’s recent weekend series against the Malone Pioneers.  The Eagles finished the weekend 3-1 after a two-game sweep to begin their final home series of the regular season. The Eagles are currently 28-15 overall, 19-5 in GLIAC play and 15-3 in the GLIAC South Division.  After winning the first three game of the series, the Eagles clinched the GLIAC South Division title for a second consecutive season, as well as a spot in the 2016 GLIAC Tournament.
