The probable candidate to replace Ashland Mayor Glen Stewart, Duane Fishpaw, stopped by the WRDL studios on Wednesday, Jan. 18, for his first solo interview on The Early Bird’s Word.  On Dec. 5, 2016, Mayor Glen Stewart announced that he would retiring from his position as Mayor, effective Jan. 21, 2017.  During the interview, Fishpaw talked about his adjustment to becoming Mayor of Ashland and also asked the crew about what they want from the city during his time as Mayor.  Fishpaw will begin serving as Mayor on Sunday, Jan. 22.
