AU Women’s Basketball clinches GLIAC Title
Ashland University Women’s Basketball improved to 26-0 after defeating the Walsh Cavaliers 92-50 on Thursday, Feb. 16.
Inside Kate’s Gymnasium, the #1-ranked Eagles dominated the Cavaliers, including at 27-point first quarter.
Junior forward Andi Daugherty led all Ashland scorers with 24 points along with five rebounds. The Eagles 26-0 start to a season is the best start for any team in program history.
The Eagles now prepare for another GLIAC South Division matchup when they travel to Finlay to take on the Oilers on Saturday, Feb. 18.
