Music Performance major at Ashland University, Frank Stanek, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Friday, Dec. 1 for The Early Bird’s Word.  Stanek spoke about the upcoming Tuba Christmas event in Ashland University’s Hugo Young Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 2, at noon.  According to the AU homepage, Ashland City Mayor-Elect Matt Miller is this year’s “Celebrity Tubist.” The concert is free and open to the public and invites area tuba, euphonium and baritone players to perform. Musician registration will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a rehearsal at 10:20 a.m.
