IT Update: Joseph Gillam talks 3D printers
Ashland University Information Technology Web Developer Joseph Gillam stopped by the WRDL Studios on Monday, March 2 to break down 3D printers and how they have become more prevalent for consumers. According to an article published by AllThat3D.com, “you have to be aware of the different 3D printing technologies because 3D printers have different approaches in delivering a 3D printed object. 3D printing technologies include Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Stereolithography (SLA or SL) and Selective laser sintering (SLS) to name a few.” Ashland University IT is located on the first floor of Patterson Hall and is open to all AU Students.
