Associate Professor of Religion at Ashland University and the Director of the Ashland Center for Nonviolence, Dr. Craig Hovey, stopped by The Early Bird’s Word on Tuesday, February 9 to discuss the ACN. Dr. Hovey discussed his role at AU, his position at the ACN, and the community impact of the organization. According to Ashland.edu, “The Ashland Center for Nonviolence at Ashland University promotes alternatives to violence through programs, education, training, and building relationships that foster awareness and consideration of issues related to nonviolence and social justice, and supports ways to create a caring community that is inclusive and just.”
