Dr. David Ragland on lecture
Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of the Truth Telling Project and the Director of the Grassroots Reparations Campaign, Dr. David Ragland, spoke with WRDL on Friday, February 25 about his upcoming lecture at Ashland University. The lecture is titled, “Constructive Nonviolence and Reparations” and is being held on Friday, February 25th at 7:00pm in the Dauch College of Business Room 105 as part of Ashland University’s Symposium Against Indifference lecture series. According to Ashland.edu, “Since its inception in 2014 after the Michael Brown shooting in the St. Louis area, the Truth-Telling Project has engaged communities in thoughtful and empathetic responses to the problems of racism and violence in our society. For this event we will have a member of this organization share their commitment to structural change, truth-telling and healing in our society.” The lecture and event is being co-sponsored by the Ashland Center for Nonviolence.
