Assistant Athletic Director, Compliance Director, and Business Manager for Ashland University, Adam Bracken, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Tuesday, March 29 to talk about Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) and compliance on The Early Bird’s Word. According to GoAshlandEagles.com. “Adam Bracken is in his sixth year as Ashland University’s Assistant Athletic Director, eighth year as AU’s Compliance Director and third year as Ashland’s Business Manager.He is the first full-time compliance officer the university has employed. Bracken has monitored eligibility, progress towards degree, medical hardships, financial aid and CARA hours for more than 600 student-athletes in 24 varsity sports. He has ensured proper recruiting and playing-season requirements for all coaches and administrative staff, recorded all pertinent information for official and unofficial visits of prospective student-athletes and conducted weekly coaches’ education sessions on NCAA bylaws.”
