Ashland County Health Department Health Commissioner Vickie Taylor, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Friday, April 15 to spotlight the ACHD and its role in the community. According to AshlandHealth.com, “Commissioner Taylor was previously employed with the Health Department as the Accreditation Coordinator. She succeeds Dr. David Tomchak who served as interim since November 2020. Dr. Tomchak will remain as the Interim Medical Director. Commissioner Taylor graduated from Ashland University in 2020 with a Master of Art in Corporate and Strategic Communication which focused on health and safety, public relations, and strategic communication.”
