Ashland Police Division Chief David A. Lay stopped by the WRDL Studios on Monday, October 3 to give an update on the APD. According to Ashland-Ohio.com, APD will “work with others to provide help, evaluate needs and foster open communications, gather input to help solve problems, and make ourselves accessible to others by showing respect, fairness and compassion. We will conduct ourselves with professionalism, honesty, and respect for ourselves and others. We will accept responsibility for our actions or lack of action, both within the Division and the community, and publish that accountability to the community.”
