Ashland University Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach, Lauren Simko, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Friday, April 5 to spotlight AU Women’s Lacrosse. According to GoAshlandEagles.com, Simko’s second season as head coach saw the program’s first .500 season (9-9) and first better-than-.500 season in conference play (5-3). The Eagles made the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament for the second year in a row.
In her first season leading the program, Simko led Ashland to a 6-11 overall record, a 5-5 mark in the Great Midwest, and the Great Midwest Tournament in the first season in the league.”
