Ashland University Numismatic Center Curator and Senior, David Maloney, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Tuesday, September 2 to talk about the organization on campus. According to Ashland.edu, “the field of Numismatics has an important place within a university curriculum, as the historical study of coins and currency continues to shed new light on cultures of the past and serves as a guide for the socioeconomic policies of the future.” The Numismatic Center is located on the sixth floor of AU’s Archer Library. It has limited public hours but appointments can be scheduled by emailing aunumismatic@ashland.edu.
