The Ashland County Solid Waste District is hosting an “Electronic Waste and Television Collection Day” on Saturday, October 10th from 8am until 1pm at the Ashland County Fairgrounds. According to AshlandCountyOh.us, “The Ashland County Solid Waste Management District (District) was established in 1990 in response to new Ohio law developed under House Bill 592.  The new law required every County in Ohio to be in a solid waste district and to develop a plan to meet a recycling goal of 25% and/or 80% recycling infrastructure for their district.” The event is only open to Ashland County residents.
