Ashland University Senior and President of AU G.I.V.S., Abby Wilhem stopped by the WRDL Studios on Tuesday, October 13 to highlight the organization’s role and efforts for community service both on campus and beyond. According to Ashland.edu, “the mission of AU G.I.V.S. is to provide Ashland University, including students, faculty and staff, with service opportunities to expand their social and educational experiences as well as create an atmosphere of committed lifelong service to others and an understanding of social responsibility and civic engagement in the following areas: Senior Citizens, Hunger and Homeless Relief, Animal Welfare, Youth, Ashland Community (Unity Team), and Government Relations/Veteran/Military Families.”
