Director of Choral Activities and Professor of Music at Ashland University, Dr. Rowland Blackley, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Tuesday, October 25 to detail AU Music. According to Ashland.edu, “The program combines music studies with general education and liberal arts courses. Required courses include music performance, history, literature, music theory and aural skills. Depending on your career objectives, you can select elective courses in performance, music theory or history. This degree program offers extensive individualized mentoring, music scholarships for music majors, minors and participants, experience performing with Ashland University’s bands or choirs, and the opportunity to travel on a domestic or international tour,”
