Ashland University Men’s Basketball head coach John Ellenwood stopped by the WRDL Studios on Friday Feb. 26th to talk with the crew about all things AU Men’s Basketball including the teams recent victory over the Lake Erie Storm. The Eagles defeated the Storm 83-65 and are now 24-4 on the season, 18-4 in conference play.  With a win over Lake Erie and a loss by Saginaw Valley State, the Eagles have clinched a share of the overall GLIAC Championship for the first time in school history.  The eleventh-ranked Eagles will open the GLIAC Tournament at home on Tuesday, March 1st vs Grand Valley State.  That game will be broadcast live from Kate’s Gymnasium on your voice for Eagle Athletics, 88.9 WRDL!
