Executive Director of Information Technology at Ashland University, Donald Tharp, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Monday, November 11 for his weekly appearance on The Early Bird’s Word. In honor of Veteran’s Day, Tharp talked with the crew about various forms of technology in the Military. According to Brookings.edu, “Some other areas of technology, perhaps most notably directed energy systems, hypersonic missiles, and certain types of advanced materials, could play important supplemental roles in making the next two decades a true period of military revolution, or at least of very fast and ongoing rapid transformation.” Ashland University IT is located on the first floor of Patterson Hall and is open to all AU Students.
