Executive Director of the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County, David Ross, and Director of Programs, Education, and Training, Ashley Ackerman, stopped by the WRDL Studios on Friday, May 5 to spotlight the organization and its role in the community. According to AshlandMHRB.org, “The Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County, through a network of providers, ensures the availability and accessibility of quality services that support recovery for individuals with trauma, mental health challenges and/or drug/alcohol abuse and addictions. The Mental Health and Recovery Board (MHRB) consists of 18 citizen volunteers from diverse backgrounds who collectively represent the community of Ashland County. County boards are responsible to determine local needs, develop a community plan, set priorities, direct resources, and monitor services in their district.”
